RETAINER SERVICES

Introduction

Many industrial and government agencies have employed the services of ERMC to establish an effective emergency response capability. Ongoing emergency preparedness requires that the initial work of establishing that capability be followed up with regular training, exercises, plan updates, and evaluations. It is often difficult for an organization to commit the necessary resources to this important part of an emergency preparedness program. To that end ERMC offers the following maintenance services to selected clients that are serious about emergency preparedness.

Service

ERMC will commit a set number of days each year to providing a range of services to selected clients. The Client and ERMC will mutually agree to the selected dates for the requested services. These services will be offered at a reduced rate from ERMC's normal fee schedule.

The client will pay ERMC a monthly fee in exchange for the fixed number of days of service. Whether or not the client consumes the days of service, the annual fee will have to be paid. Should a client decide they require more days of service while in a retainer period, this can be offered at our daily rate or a new Retainer Service Contract can be optioned.

Should the client decide to open a new Retainer Service Contract, the payment of the fees will be negotiated with ERMC.

For the duration of the contract, ERMC will commit a fixed number of days to deliver any combination of services as shown on the next page.

The Client will benefit by having this service completed on time as ERMC is committed to delivering the service and will dedicate the necessary resources. An ERMC representative will be available to begin service delivery on a mutually agreed date, depending on ERMC's availability.

Annual Days of Service and Cost

Days of retainer service can be bought in increments of 6 days up to a maximum of 42 days in one calendar year. Please contact us for more information about pricing.

Benefits

  1. Reliability. The client will have assured access to a resource dedicated to performing tasks necessary to sustain effective emergency preparedness.
  2. Cost Savings. The client will have the benefits of ERMC's services at a lesser rate than would normally be charged for them if delivered on a service-by-service basis.
  3. Consistency. ERMC's commitment will ensure that the services provided would be delivered by someone who is familiar with the clients organization. This means that the services will reflect the unique characteristics of each organization.
  4. Sustainability. By entering into an annual service contract with ERMC, the client will find it easier to incorporate the cost into their budgeting. The reasonable cost means that an organizations budget will not be unduly strained by this financial commitment.

Expenses

Expenses for such items as taxes, photocopying, travel, meals and accommodations, etc. will be invoiced at cost. Travel time will also be invoiced.

Deliverables & Service Packages

Service packages are available in increments of 6 days to a maximum of 42 days. Services utilized for less than 6 days will be charged under ERMC's normal fee structure. ERMC clients have the option of choosing any of the following services that add up to the number of days of their service package. The number of days listed for training describes the time for preparation and delivery of the training topic.

The maximum number of participants for each training workshop is listed in the Service Description section of this document. ERMC's regular training fees will apply for each participant exceeding the maximum number designated for that workshop.
